It's hard to keep remembering that practically everything Sophie sees, touches, hears, feels, smells and does, she sees, touches, hears, feels, smells and does for the first time. It's mind boggling. Yesterday she rolled over. How weird that must feel never having done it before. Today she touched her first blade of grass. Last week she got tickled and laughed - really laughed - for the first time. I'm in awe that I get to oversee someone's unfolding of all the beauties and joys in the world. Pretty major parenting perk.
